Contentplum Widget Integration Guide for Facebook page

Contentplum app is very easy to integrate with your Facebook page. Follow these steps to integrate Contentplum's Extension to your Facebook page.

Pre integration steps: Find verious "How to guides" to create different types of ContentPlum widgets.


Facebook page integration steps:

  • Step 1: Login to Facebook page. On page tabs click "More" with dropdown option and click on "Find More Apps" .
  • Step 2: Click on "Search for Apps" on left hand side bar below App center.
  • Step 3: Type "staitc HTML" in seach bar. "Statc HTML:iframe tabs" app will show up. Click on that.
  • Step 4: Click on "Use Now" button on Static HTML app page
  • Step 5: Select your facebook page from "Choose Facebook Pages" drop down menu
  • Step 6: Click "Add page Tab" from the box
  • Step 7: Click on "Add Static HTML to a Page" On Static HTML app box
  • Step 8: New Tab is added with default name "Welcome" on your Facebook page. Name of the tab can be changed later. Click on newly added tab .
  • Step 9: Click "Edit tab" option.
  • Step 10: In "index.html" tab, Copy & Paste Contentplum widget embed code. Cick "Save & Publish" top right corner. Then click "View tab in Facebook" . Your Contentplum widget will show up on newly created tab on Facebook page. That' it.
  • Follow next step to further customize and control facebook page tab.
  • Step 11: Click on "More" dropdown on facebook page and click "Mangage Tabs"
  • Step 12: You can drag newly added tab to reorder on facebook page. Click "Add or Remove Tabs" to go to Tab settings page
  • Step 13: In Added Apps, Find Static HTML app. And click "Edit Settings".
  • Step 14: Edit Tab settings to control visbilty, Image and Name of the tab
    • Click "Remove" if you don't want to display new tab on facebook page
    • You can change Tab and Image.
